6.33/10 score rank #22 of 22VOCALS 6PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 6Not a miss, but I felt this track lacked a lot of depth for me. I did enjoy the beat and the couple pop culture references I picked out, but I think it lacked just a little bit to really be something special. Notes are particularly helpful for a challenge like this to help provide context and explain key parts incorporated into the track that make it applicable to the challenge.

4.33/10 score rank #21 of 22VOCALS 5PRODUCTION 5CHALLENGE 3Solid lyrics overall. Could use a little more energy from the vocals and the production. Not truly sure if this meets the challenge because I'm not too sure what the song is about. there are references for sure, but I just wanted a little more than "you can't miss" on a song. Production just needed a little more variety throughout the song. Vocals very echoey and creates a muddy mix. overall good sound and loses points on the mix and clarity of the challenge.

5.33/10 score rank #18 of 22VOCALS 7PRODUCTION 5CHALLENGE 4Producer only used one sample whereas you are supposed to use 1 from each bin to fully meet the challenge. Docked points from this. Notes also weren't provided on the lyrical references but I could pull out at least a few, so that counts at least. Little Rodney: I think you are one of the better writers in this competition. Very clever bars. I like the chorus too, for an all-rapped chorus it's well done and very catchy. I would love to see you make more of an effort to be creative: think of a unique concept, do something you don't typically do, and otherwise try applying your skills to "not being yourself". Also, your rapping sounds a bit "lazy" - could be an artistic choice but more energy would be fun to hear. This might be my favorite bar in this round: Gimme a chance and I wont throw away my shot Alexander blamilton what i call my glock Aaron make that thing go BRRRR what i call my - diiiiiiiiii Only white people say cock I didn't know that black folx didn't say cock. This is very important information. Qing: Overall good production but just quite repetitive and there's no evolution of the song or song structure. Would like to hear more intentional work towards "song sections". Also mixing of the vox needs work, right now there's too much reverb and delay and I think it takes away from the audibleness of the words.

6.67/10 score rank #18 of 22VOCALS 7PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 6Rodney sounding good as hell on this first verse. Love the lyrical work. You've always woven references throughout your verses, and you brought it here. The second verse does have some "reading the lyrics" energy at points. I feel like the some of ad libs could be cleaner. "Aaron make that thing go BRRRR" made me lmao. The notes only list one sample, but the sample work is good! I love the way you used the choir vocals from this sample. I'd love to hear you folding more elements from other samples in, and with the level you are operating at, I know you wouldn't have had any trouble pulling in some other drum elements and samples. I'd like to hear the vocals get a little more love in post to get them really feeling natural and like it is sharing the same space with the beat rather than sitting on top of it.

6.67/10 score rank #17 of 22VOCALS 7PRODUCTION 6CHALLENGE 7The raps on this start great. I think the part after the hook gets a bit sparse. I think the beat is a good foundation, but needs some more evolution, could help to carry the post-hook empty feeling I was referring to earlier.
