Vocalist's challenge writeup
For this, the third challengenof the round, I decided to tell of the rise, the rule and the fall of King Arthur Pendragon from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In some ways, I wanted this to be wrestling adjacent with some subtle nods but I also wanted to stay true to the story and highlight the ridiculousness of authoritarianism. Enjoy!
Producer's challenge writeup
Created 30 second entrance theme, then used samples from the theme in the song submission. The sample is very identifiable and makes up about 60% of the song.

JUDGES' BREAKDOWN
Klopfenpop
8.00/10 score rank #7 of 24VOCALS 8PRODUCTION 8CHALLENGE 8This beat has a great groove, love the vibe. Remind me of late 90s sample-based pop. An is riding this pocket REAL nice. Good energy match between beat and vocals. I really appreciate all the switch ups in the beat and how you let the vocal really guide your production. This is a great lesson in taking the various layers of a beat and weaving them together in a way that build real dynamics and transitions and narrative. Solid lyrics.

8.33/10 score rank #13 of 24VOCALS 8PRODUCTION 8CHALLENGE 9Entrance reminds me of when Strangé pulled up to the function in the movie Boomerang lol. Very gladiatorial, blessed be the gods of war. Beat stays interesting, love the melodic switch-ups. Choir sample could be turned down a tad. Love the rhyme schemes throughout here. The flow falls off beat at places in a way that sits somewhere between “this sounds slick and intentional and “another take could tighten this up a bit”, but otherwise very solid. All hail to the king baby.

8.00/10 score rank #15 of 24VOCALS 7PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 10Great energy to start the track with an upbeat drum break and horns to match the royalty sound. Enjoyed the vocalist energy provided with lots of King Arthur and the round table references connected to wrestling like the "ready to rumble movie" Fun track. There's a part of the song with the vocalist comes just a tad off beat, but only for a small portion of the second verse. Clear vocals and production was solid overall.

8.00/10 score rank #12 of 24VOCALS 7PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 10Challenge met. That was a fun idea to interpret this character as a wrestler. Overall solid, though not exceptional, job by both the vocalist and producer. I liked the production switchup for the hook but didn't find the vocal hook very compelling.

8.00/10 score rank #13 of 24VOCALS 9PRODUCTION 8CHALLENGE 7I actually really liked this track a lot; big fan of Monty Python and I think the track works towards the challenge, but I can't give full marks because while creative, doesn't quite line up with the actual wrestling persona that was to be created. That said, the story is obviously there from start to finish, loved the references, and overall the track was successful.
