I made a beat with horn stabs because wrestling. I sampled that Phil Collins song. You know the one. The whole beat is made with only samples from that song actually because what says wrestling more than Phil Collins. I made his intro song first and then morphed it into the jam.

The beat is solid on this and the performance is there. I can tell there's some reading going on, but the better memorized lines real feel natural. I would encourage you to spend time with the song after recording the demo, that will give you time to practice them and find more ideas of how you want to deliver them once you aren't focused on remembering the. I'd also encourage you to start playing with "punching in" your vocals. A great tactic for recording demoes that sound better than you can deliver in a single take, is called punching in. You can have two tracks recording side by side on the computer, and record a bar or two at once. You can record a bit on one track, then give yourself a running start to pick up where you left off. That gives you time beforehand to make sure the rhythm is going to line up where you want, instead of trying to track the rhythm for the entire length of the verse. Afterward, your producer can crossfade them together into one big "comped" take. Once you have some time to practice along with that demo vocal and get more familiar with your lyrics and how they land on the beat at full speed, it will be MUCH easier to record them in less takes. The vocal mix is sounding better on this one. I'd encourage you to try out "spot effects" on the vocals. A nice saturated slapback echo can be a cool effect to have pop up just to emphasize certain words or phrases. Another tool that I think could really serve your team well is digging through Sound Effects to work around the lyrics for a little text painting. A sound effect that punches up a lyric always adds a little fun to a rap song. Keep up the great submissions! I can hear y'all growing from round to round. Fun beat and concept for a wrestler! The narrative isn't really here (the rise and fall of the character) and I could use more details about what the wrestler's personality is like. Feel like that could come through in both the vocals and the production. I like the vocal "scratching" the producer incorporated!

Entrance gave me ‘new wrestler tying to make a name for themselves’ vibes. He beat kids like Joe Jackson in his prime made me spit my coffee out. Parts of the song feel sparse, both vocally and production-wise, but I enjoyed this effort overall.

This was defintely a treat hearing this. The improvement in each round is very noticable and i'm glad to see it. Very energetic and i enjoy the back and forth hook between vocalists. As for the delivery its getting much better and I know with time it will be great. Solid productyion as well. Keep it up!

I like the backbone of the song, but I think it needed to be developed a little more. There's a bit of the story missing in the lyrics to meet the challenge head on and the delivery and flow of the song overall could use some fine tuning.
