I've learned that you are in fact a wrestle boy. I listened through a few times and then went to consult the notes for the submission and left with more questions. From a strictly blind listen through, I'd struggle to relate the song directly to the challenge, but I do think a lot of the elements are there, I'd just like them to be more surface-level to fully grasp the track. That said, I think the beat was one of the catchiest I've heard so far and as a general submission, I think it's a pretty solid entry from your group- maybe my favorite of yours so far!

That vocoder effect on the vocals was really cool in the hook. I know for sure you both had fun making this track. The production was very solid and constant. Would of love to hear some changes everynow and then. Vocals could of used more love in the mix. Some portions of the song the vocal would bury under the production simply because its possible of the vocalist moving back and forth in the microphone during the recording process. Sometimes it happens and you gotta be a little careful especially if the gain isnt at the constant volume. Other then that I enjoyed the track.

Notes and lyrics for this track seemed to be messed up (mixed up with another team) so I tried to judge it from what I could hear. It sounds like you met the challenge but I didn't see an intro theme submitted. The engineering and beat are pretty raw with lots of clipping. Good flow and interesting chorus but I couldn't really follow a clear narrative or have a clear picture of who this persona/kayfabe was.

The hook vocals sound really good on this one. I really wish the vocal overdubs got lined up with the main vocal. The reverb also isn't helping the vocals sit in the mix better. This mix really left your vocalist hanging without a safety net and that's rough. The vocal performance doesn't convey a lot of confidence or familiarity with the lyric, which can come down to rehearsal time, which I know can be tough in the VPC. But with a mix this rough, there isn't a lot of wiggle room.

Shannon Sharpe coming out to this one, lol. I like the hook here, a lot lol. Flow overall can be tighter. Beat is cool, though it could be more robust. Song could end a bit earlier as well re: the long ride out…damn why can’t I get that hook outta my head? Lol.
