Since R1, this group has been putting these type of tracks out and the R4 challenge was perfectly in their wheelhouse. I was so ready for a perfect score entry from you! I can't say I'm disappointed but I would have liked a more direct approach to the challenge. My takeaway from this was more abstract and I think it's still a success, but I can't quite discern the hook from the chorus, or what club we're exactly in.

Definitely in the 2010s club vibes for the production side. great work. vocals give me an new era pop sound which is right on the mark for this challenge. mix could be more polished but great job! almost perfect score.

Gives me that west coast club vibe production-wise. This would mix well with Chris Brown “Loyal” and songs of a similar ilk. Vocal FX well done, we in da club with this one fa sho. Vocal performance is well done. That hook is an ear worm. Would have loved a more pronounced switch, a “No Guidance” half time style switch would have crushed here.

This intro is great! Really well designed in a way that would hit super hard live. Even just dropped into a DJ set. The transitions on this are really fun. I enjoy how you gradually build up the beat with each bar during the first verse. The dynamic flow feels perfect for a club environment. This is a sweet song and is a great match to the tone of the beat. I'm not sure it feels like an anthem, but it's still a great club song an a really good song in general.

Garbage Gang but make it Chainsmokers. Nice. Loved this. Lex's signature poetic writing makes this way more textured and interesting than the Chainsmokers, honestly. While technically and musically perfect, Solo hews a bit too closely to the Smokers' biggest hits. The result sounds more like a tribute. Late nights and late starts/ break bread don’t break hearts/ maybe we been grinding way too long/ devil in a red dress/ I’m glad you came alone/ but maybe we been grinding way too long Gorgeous. T_T
