so goth i shit bats is crazy work. Man I wish you guys would just take this competition more seriously rather than shitpost. There are some really good vivid bars in here and I really like the concept of a goth club anthem and the sound of the beat. The writing and beatmaking are both there, but it's just executed in such a slipshod way that it's hard to listen to or at least grade on the scale of the rest. I am giving the vox a 7 though because the interesting writing was a standout.

I certainly picked up all the references, both musical and to a time when I used to frequent my local goth club, I don't think I'll ever forget the smell of clove cigarettes. The delivery of the lyrics I struggled with at times, I think the flow improved over the course of the song, but early on felt very out of rhythm and lacked that critical club element to pull the listener in off the jump

Gill's tempo shifted vocals definitely drift away from the beats tempo in the opening section in a way that doesn't feel intentional. It's close enough that if you adjust each stanza to be aligned, it would probably be fine. All of the vocals are pretty distorted and tinny. It's hard to make out the lyrics because of this. The beat overall sounds fine and feels at least a bit gothy. I dig the goth homage in the lyrics as well!

Vocals being out of pocket with the beat hurt its clubbability, but I enjoy the flow switch ups. Palpatine reference is always appreciated as well. Production-wise, the beat is decent, sounds clubby. I don’t feel there was a recognizable switch in beat cadence tho. The vocal crunch is at a frequency that clashes with some of the synths, making it difficult to hear the vocals. Love the vocal chops and stutters.

production is definitely visable but I was a little confused about the direction of the song and it doesn't seem to fit the challenge overall. Vocals were a little all over the place and I could seem to find a format and in the prodcution, the sounds were not frequenced it best. Thank you for submitting.
