Hello, my name is Navi DeBergi 
I’m a content producer 
I produce a lot of content. 
That Imp song, Booster Pack? 
Cop that booster pack, shorty?
That was mine.
On night in 20X6, I was scrolling the internet, 
On a website called wikipedia, 
Don’t look for it. It’s not there any more. 
But that night, I read an article, 
That for me, redefined the word video game.
That article was for the legendary Plok!
needless to say, I jumped at the chance to make the documentary
The, if you will, plokumentary, that you’re about to hear. 
But hey, enough of my yakking 
Sit back, relax, and enjoy. The year is 1993

[Verse 1 - Imp]
A new mascot character steps up to the challenge
Whose silhouette kinda sorta looks like a Klansman
And if you disagree, squint, and look at him again
I'm certain this won't later be relevant
 
A king whose underwelming sales kept him outclassed
Despite near universal acclaim, and addoration for the soundtrack
Lives on Super Nintendo, canceled port for Mega Drive
It's a uber misstep ("oh can it, dawg") I'll reconcile
 
Programmed by John Buckley, Lyndon Brooke on the artin',
Tim and Geoff Follin composing all the audio for it
Designed by Ste and John Pickford, the best and fool proof

[Verse 2 - Only One Ronin]
Long live the king
Plok! Of Akrillic
The plot gonna shock
On the spot
When you hear it
Theives stole his flag
Smash and grab
So he had to stop them
Left the isle of akrillic 
For the land of cotton
Battled the bobbins brothers
Fantastic
Rescued the flags from
The ones who kidnapped it
But coming back it
Was all a distraction 
A dastardly deed

They over ran his home
complete decimation

Plok clapped back
To enact extermination 
With a buzzsaw jump to his prey

Defeated the creatures
And made his way to the fleapit
After committing war crimes,
he took out the queen there
Then went back to his flag
And sat on his green chair

with the lasers

to really find the queen
make her wave my flag

Plok began as Fleapit by the Pickford brothers
Starring the Exploding Man with crimson and orange colors
Rare said take it, but ain't no hand holdin'
It'll be yall Self funding to get the game rollin'
 
I WAS FILLING UP PAGES WITH NEW SKETCHES & POSES
CHANGED THE COLORS & THE SIZES, ALL THE FEATURES & PROPORTIONS
TIL IT MORPHED INTO A HOOD WITH A BIG ASS MOUTH
WE CALLED HIM “PLOK” GOT IT OFF THAT LABEL STUCK TO MY MOUSE
 
Development stunts, bruh, I used to wonder what's out
Software Creations plucks the Pickfords to sculpture right now
Making games like Incredible Crash Dummies and Equinox
Fleapit Changes Forms, now we're here pitchin PLOK

Speculative as it is, it’s still competition

So then it comes to marketing,
The Super Pickford Bros were never told
Or consulted on PLOK!’s PROMO.
Which in the Uk did ok, reel on a vhs tape 
But the print in rest of Europe was half-baked
Tradewest in the US, was best-press’d 
Got in a showcase and a comic book reveal of plot
With overall N-Force magazine championing  
As the most surreal game of the year was PLOK!

Mobilized against the older guys, coulda spied idoltry
Retrospective journalists noted Plok was setting the stage
For alot of innovations that was pending to stay
 
Was Rayman the first with detatchable limbs? (Hell nah!)
Thought Dynamite Headdy was fittin' the bill? (Hell nah!!)
Yoshi's Crafted World the first made of cloth? (Hell nah!!!)
Was Kirby's Epic Yarn predatin' Plok? (Hell nah!!!!)
 
(Long live Akrillic!) The webcomic carries the tradition
Set 20 years later, with the Pickfords still pennin'
Failed commercially but cult status riveting 
One game you need to try before rigor mortis positions in
 
Odd! The game with the hangman relented privilege
Regarding getting more games, I've been diddled again
But as far as legacy, it's a brilliant success
