One Night Ultimate Werewolf Beach Vacation (feat. JoeyZ, navi, ARTCLASSHERO, Tanner, Imp)
Vocalist's challenge writeup
This was quite the challenge, but we all pulled together. There was a lot of us for a dis track so it was important to find a motive for so many folks at odds with each other. Everyone volunteered a role and one person was assigned the werewolf so it's also a fun minigame to see if the listener can find the actual werewolf.
Producer's challenge writeup
For this track I had to combine 3 genres I combined pop punk, chip tune and 90s hip hop The pop punk was a little guitar that I played and looped. For chip tune I played a little chiptune over the guitar and for the 90s hip hop I sampled a bom bap beat It was challenging but I think it came together really well!

8.00/10 score rank #18 of 24VOCALS 8PRODUCTION 8CHALLENGE 8This was a strong concept to try to wrap the "diss track" challenge around 5 rappers. On paper it's better than the actual execution because there are barely any real disses in the verses. Battle rap is a very specific style of writing and while there is an effort to try to attack and accuse others for being the werewolf, which I think was a good way to go about it, it misses the mark on having actual battle bars. Vocals were strong but again I don't feel like many people wrote for the battle rap challenge. I can understand though, as there was probably fatigue for all of these people who participated in all of these different teams' challenges! Production fused all three genre samples gorgeously, but it was a bit too repetitive over quite a long time to keep my interest. I think overall this track could've benefited from tightening and editing. The Creative Complex has always pushed the envelope in style and concepts during this VPC. You guys maybe have some of my favorite concepts of the comp. I could definitely learn a thing or two from you!

10.00/10 score rank #1 of 24VOCALS 10PRODUCTION 10CHALLENGE 10It... it's the tanner right? I'm pretty sure. This may be my favorite track from the round, I loved the interactivity of it, the layers of meaning and ambiguity. Damn. What a clever way to execute the challenge, well done. * All teams receive a '10' in their challenge category from me this round. This has to be one of the most randomized challenges and can seem insurmountable with the wrong pairing. As such, I am thoroughly impressed with everyone's ability to rise to the task.

9.00/10 score rank #12 of 24VOCALS 9PRODUCTION 8CHALLENGE 10Beat is an immediate head bobber. This one of them beats I'd love to rap on for real. This is wierd in a way that just works. Vocals are performed well, the raps was definitely rapping. Vox could use another level pass for consistency across verses, and the snare in the beat has some wild level changes, but overall, this is great.

8.33/10 score rank #12 of 24VOCALS 8PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 10Great verses from everyone on this track. solid mix and beat! they are some parts of the drums are not synced the best in the forms of arraignment. the effects and glitch in the beat are cool but at points it gets out of sync with the main melody which makes it feel a little off center. overall dope track!

8.00/10 score rank #14 of 24VOCALS 8PRODUCTION 7CHALLENGE 9Okay, this is a very fun groove. I like the combo of genres. Smashed together quite nicely. The beat has a very bandpassed feel. The guitar feels a little too squashed with compression. The overall result is a bit of a pinched head feeling that I think begs for release at some point. I was almost expecting it open up like an intro reveal. I do love a l-fi 90s breakbeats though. It's a vibe, for sure. Maybe that's the blender effect. I would love to hear some more subtle loop variation in the verses, but round five is always a scramble, so I get it. The vocal mix does sound a little rushed, but these verses are real nice. I think this might be my fav OnlyOneRonin's verse this round! Navi's hook is a delight. The chip arps are good ear candy as well. I really dig the idea of a party game as the context for the "battle". There are some great schemes in here.
